ME Consult is a private consulting firm with more than 15 employees and extensive expertise in energy engineering, energy industry, microfinance, management and social sciences. The company has more than 10 years of experience in over 30 countries in Latin America, Africa and Asia and is currently headquartered in Berlin with a branch office in Medellín, Colombia.

ME SOLdesign designs and tests energy technologies that can be flexibly adapted to the local context and promote access to energy services. ME SOLdesign sees universal access to energy as a global challenge that requires cooperation and the exchange of knowledge and experience on a global level. Consequently, open source applications, both in software and hardware development, are an important part of corporate work.
